The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency reported it's alarmed with regards to the superior range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some higher quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area each day. The provider position designed for intervention experiences a significant influx of possible beneficiaries, that makes it complicated with the Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to allow the servicing of all prospects and boost entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
